With Build-A-Belt, you can place orders online, by phone or
fax. Orders started and completed online will recieve a 10 percent
discount. Payment can be made via credit card or purchase
order.
Credit Cards Aircraft Belts accepts Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and Discover. We will not bill your credit card
until your full order is shipped. Once we receive credit card
authorization, the funds will be reserved up to 30 days depending on
the bank. If you are paying with a debit card, verify with your bank
if there are limitations pertaining to daily withdrawals on your
card. ABI reserves the right to request additional identification.
If this is needed, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone. Your
order will be processed as soon as we receive the requested
information.
CREDIT TERMS FOR ALL
CUSTOMERS To be given an account, you must be an established
customer for a minimum of six months, have made a minimum of three
purchases and those purchases must add up to a minimum of $2,500.
After submitting your credit application, it will be at the
discretion of the credit department as to your future account
status.
Any account more than 15 days past due will lost account
privileges and be placed on C.O. D. terms until the account is made
current. Please note: the second time a customer is placed on C.O.D.
due to late payments, the said customer will remain on C.O. D.
status for six months. At the end of six months, the credit
department has the option of requiring an updated credit report and
a new credit limit could be set until the customer maintains a
steady pay cycle.
Any account more than 90 days past due will be turned over to a
collection agency. Fees of 28.21 percent will be added to the
balance of the account and payable by secured funds only. Once the
collection agency has been notified of a delinquent account, the
above fee will be debited to your account. Should you mail your
check prior to notification by the collection agency, the fee of
28.21 percent will be debited to your account and due in full.
Your account will be on a C.O. D. secured funds basis for six
months if we receive a bad check. You also will be responsible for
the $25 service charge access to our account.

ABI warrants its product(s) to the original purchaser and, in
the case of original equipment manufacturers, to their original
customer, to be free from defects in material and workmanship and to
be made in accordance with the buyer’s specifications that have been
accepted in writing by ABI, in no event, however, shall ABI be
liable or have any responsibility under such warranty if the
product(s) have been improperly stored, installed, used or
maintained, or if the buyer has permitted any unauthorized
modifications, adjustments and/or repairs to such product(s). ABI’s
obligation hereunder is limited solely to repairing or replacing (at
its opinion) at its factory, any product(s) or parts thereof, which
prove to ABI’s satisfaction to be defective as a result of defective
materials or workmanship within 12 months from date of ABI’s invoice
provided, however, that written notice of claimed defects have
provided to ABI within 30 days from the date the defect is first
discovered. The product(s) or part(s) claimed to be defective must
be returned to ABI. Transportation will be pre-paid by the buyer,
with written specification of the claimed defect accompanying the
product(s). Evidence acceptable to ABI must be furnished that the
claimed defects were not caused by misuse, abuse or neglect by
anyone other than ABI.
The aforementioned warranty is in lieu of all other warranties,
whether expressed or implied, including without limitation, any
warranty of merchantability or of fitness for any specified herein,
and is in lieu of all other obligations or liabilities on the part
of ABI, ABI’s maximum liability with respect to this quotation and
any resulting sale, arising from any cause whatsoever, including
without limitation, breach of contract or negligence, shall not
exceed the price specified herein of the product(s) giving rise to
the claim, and in no event shall ABI be liable under this warranty
or otherwise for special incidental or consequential damages,
including without limitation, damage or loss resulting from
inability to use the product(s), increased operating costs, loss of
production, loss of anticipated profits or other special, incidental
or consequential damages, whether similar or dissimilar, of any
nature arising or resulting from the purchase, installation,
removal, repair, operation, use or breakdown of the product(s), or
any other cause whatsoever including negligence.
This warranty also shall apply to products or parts which have
been impaired or replaced pursuant to such warranty for a period of
12 months from and after the date such repaired or replaced products
or parts are shipped by ABI provided, however, that such warranty
shall cover only the specific items repaired or replaced.
No person, including any agent or representative of ABI, is
authorized to make any representation or warranty on behalf of ABI
concerning any products manufactured by ABI, except to refer
purchasers to this warranty.
The only warranty applicable to products not manufactured by ABI,
if any, shall be the warranty of the manufacturer or supplier
thereof.

What information does ABI have on its customers? The
data in our customer files helps us personalize and continually
improve your experience with ABI. The following are the two types of
information we maintain:
- Information users provide: ABI receives and stores any
information users enter in Build-A-Belt or provide us in any other
way.
- Automatic information: ABI receives and stores certain types
of information whenever you connect to our site. Like the majority
of other Web sites, we use "cookies" and obtain certain types of
information when your Web browser accesses Build-A-Belt.
ABI and cookies Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers
ABI transfers to a user's computer's hard drive through Web browsers
that enable our systems to recognize your system. The "help" portion
of the toolbar on most browsers tells users how to prevent browsers
from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify the user
when a new cookie is received or how to disable cookies altogether.
Does ABI pass on the information it collects?
Information about our customers is an important part of
business. ABI does not sell any type of information on its
customers.
How secure is the information? Your security is
important to ABI so we utilize Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software,
which encrypts information you input. Build-A-Belt reveals only the
last five digits of credit card numbers when confirming an order.
However, the entire credit card number is transmitted to the
appropriate credit card company during order processing.
It is important for users to be protected against unauthorized
access to passwords and to computers. Always sign-off when using a
shared computer.
Conditions of use, notices and revisions If you choose
to utilize Build-A-Belt, your visit and any dispute over privacy is
subject to this Notice and our Conditions of Use, including
limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of
the law of the state of North Carolina. If you have any concern about
Build-A-Belt's privacy, please contact Aircraft Belts and we will
address your concerns. Please note that this notice and the
conditions of use may change, and use of information that ABI
gathers is subject to the privacy notice in effect at the time of
